Nature Conscious Generation!
| On Aug20,2019
There is a big hope for mother earth because, the newer generation is much more conscious about the harmful effects of unnatural lifestyles as well as about their environment. Even those, who as children were bred on cokes and fast food, have become conscious as young adults about their consumption habits. The “I couldn’t care less attitude” of the older generation is being replaced by “I must be conscious about my environment and my lifestyle.” To reduce one’s carbon footprint has already become a trend in the west.
Although, awareness is increasing at the individual level and people at their own levels are doing whatever they can — there is a limit to what this individual action can achieve. Our entire system is rooted in unnatural, harmful lifestyles. To live as per nature requires us to fight continuously against this system. To go against the tide. It’s not easy. What we really need is concerted action. And organizational support. To change the system requires advocacy, campaigns and activism. So, some of us need to devote our lives, our careers to that extremely important goal.
And, of course, we need easy, efficient, practical and accessible alternatives.
Organizations like Saviour can help provide a platform to help individuals live a more nature friendly, healthy lifestyles that benefit the individuals as well as the society as a whole.
In the coming posts we would be talking about how we can make small changes in our lifestyles that can have a big impact on our environment and our health.
